Before you begin
Choose an organization administrator who can verify identity and invite the right colleagues. Have your legal name, website, mission and a local copy of your logo available. Start with the facts you know; leave missing details for someone to confirm. Accurate information makes later suggestions useful.
Create and verify your account
Register with an email address you control. Complete the verification steps shown in the Setup guide. If you provide a phone number, use verification when available and enter the code yourself. Verification establishes access to a contact method; it does not establish charitable status or replace Stripe’s review. Never send a password or verification code to support.
Save the organization facts
Open Organization and review the legal name, website, location and mission. Check that suggested public information belongs to your organization before saving. Add your tagline and origin story in your own words. Upload your logo from your computer. For address search, select a match, check the individual fields and add a suite or unit. Manual entry remains available.
Pick a small first result
Add one real program and one supporting source. For communications, prepare a short Engagement campaign and inspect its drafts. For fundraising, create a private Community Funding campaign linked to that program. Saving a profile or generating a draft does not publish a post or donation page. Invite an appropriately authorized colleague to review the result.
Check your result and recover
Reopen the profile and confirm the information is saved. The Setup guide identifies remaining tasks and prerequisites. If a step fails, keep the page and error text, check the active organization and request help. Avoid creating a second organization to work around a setup error; duplicate records make ownership and evidence harder to manage.
