Check organization and role
Confirm the selected organization and your permissions before changing settings. Invite colleagues through the authorized membership workflow. Choose access for their actual work. Do not share an administrator login: separate accounts keep approvals and activity attributable.
Understand services
Profiles, evidence, Community Funding and Engagement form the free core. Funding Operations needs an applicable paid plan or valid promotion. Software access and managed human service scope differ. Read current pricing and your agreement for monthly price, onboarding, commitment and quoted scope. Provider and processing costs may be separate.
Review promotions
Inspect resulting terms in the promotion and quote workflow. Check what is discounted, for how long and what follows. A code does not promise all future services are free. Never share billing secrets in a support message or change another organization’s agreement to test access.
Prepare a help request
Start with the relevant guide and displayed status. If the issue persists, include the screen, action, expected result and exact error. A campaign or transaction reference is often more useful than a large screenshot. Remove beneficiary information and never include passwords, verification codes or API keys.
Keep human authority
Account ownership, delegated approvals, financial actions and disputed facts need authorized people. Automated guidance should not claim to have changed a plan, published a campaign or refunded a gift unless an authorized product action occurred. Keep the response and case reference for follow-up.
