Create and publish a Community Funding campaign

Connect a donation page to a real program, review its evidence and complete payment-account prerequisites.

Prepare readiness

Save mission, legal information and the relevant program or project. Review Community Funding site and payment setup. The nonprofit connects its own Stripe account through onboarding. Evidof’s service-billing account does not replace that donation account. Resolve connected-account readiness errors before expecting a live checkout.

Create a private draft

Open New campaign and choose a saved program, project or organization-wide purpose. Review the proposed title, story, evidence and photos. Use optional writing suggestions, then verify every claim. A saved draft is private; publication is separate. Each campaign has its own independent published page and purpose.

Choose a saved program, project or organization-wide purpose to start a campaign. BrightPath’s example has no connected payment account and accepts no donations.

Configure gifts

Review organization defaults and campaign overrides for amounts and frequencies. Check that presets match your choices and custom amount entry is clear. Where Needed Most means this campaign’s greatest need. Other campaigns appear only when eligible and explicitly opted into cross-campaign giving.

Add photos and transparency

Upload approved campaign photos, describe them and choose an available layout. Preview the page without an image too. Add current public transparency material such as an impact report, IRS filing or legitimate seal. Check the organization statement and identification beneath the donation action. Do not treat a missing document as permission to claim a credential.

Preview, publish and verify

Inspect desktop and mobile layouts, designations, links and inline checkout. Publish only after authorized review. Use a sandbox for test payments; test and live transactions differ. Investigate errors using their reference and account status instead of making duplicate campaigns or switching to another organization’s live account.
